Hi! So that our readers can know a bit more about you, please introduce Miami Conspiracy
A: Miami Conspiracy is a musical project from the Miami area. It is a mixture of Pop, Rap, Rock, Electronic and World music. Since anything goes down here, the best way to describe it is: “Miami Conspiracy”.
I have several other musicians collaborating in this project. With so many different styles of music and talented people out there, the mix of styles is always fun and refreshing to listen to.
Your single ‘Money’ is amazing. For those who haven’t heard it yet, how would you describe the track?
A: A Deep Trap / Rap Multilingual Jam! It is a pumping groove track with Heavy bass and Guitars. It was recorded in English, Portuguese and Creole by Rising Star Miami Rapper DreLayLow!
Where did you record it?
A: Insane Sounds Studio in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Your music interweaves so many different styles and sounds. If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
A: Oh, tough question! It could be Linkin Park? Sean Paul? Rage Against the Machine? We really have such a broad spectrum of musical influences that I could put other 10 artists on this list.
What’s been your favorite musical experience to date?
A: Back on September of 2022, Miami Conspiracy was nominated and won the Indie Music Channel awards of that year for the best emerging Rock Band. The song “Don’t Give Up” stayed @ number 1 on The Radio Café Show playlist with Cristopher Ewing for several weeks.
Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?
A: We are based in the Miami Area which is known for its vibrant Latin Culture. However, Miami is a Metropolis and you can find all kinds of music venues to enjoy different types of music, therefore we are inspired by an eclectic diversity of styles such as Rock, Rap, Electronic and World Music.
Can you describe your most memorable career performance? How do you recall it?
A: Several years ago I played at a Brazilian Festival in South Beach with my former Rock Band Xingu and it was a great experience playing with the Ocean as the background!
Can we anticipate a forthcoming EP or album from you soon?
A: Maybe an EP but for now I like to be releasing singles.
Finally, do you have any updates on upcoming gigs? What are your plans for 2024?
A: More songs, more videos, more jamming sessions and hopefully shows!
