Hi! So that our readers can know a bit more about you, please introduce Dirty Mitts

A: We are Dirty Mitts, a passionate four-piece band that fuses Hard and Classic Rock with a modern twist. Our team consists of Tommy on vocals, Matt on bass, Mo on the guitar, and Mateusz on drums. We hail from diverse backgrounds with members from the UK, Poland, and Egypt. Forming the band in 2022, our shared mission has been to revive the classic rock sound for a new generation of music enthusiasts.

You’ve just released your latest single ‘Women‘ and it’s amazing. For those who haven’t heard it yet, how would you describe the track?

A: Our track “Women” started as an ode to the classic Saturday night vibe. As it evolved, we incorporated elements of playful mischief and a tribute to women’s empowerment. The song is a harmonious blend of old-school rock ‘n’ roll and modern influences, making it a true reflection of our vision of bridging the gap between traditional rock and today’s music landscape.

Where did you record it?

A: We recorded the drums at Cargo studios and transitioned to JBJ studio in Uxbridge for the guitar and vocal sessions. The experience was intense and invigorating.

Your music interweaves so many different styles and sounds. If you could collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

A: If given the opportunity, collaborating with the iconic Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Guns N’ Roses would be a dream come true for us. These bands stand as true pillars in the rock world, and to work alongside such legends would be an absolute honor.

What’s been your favorite musical experience to date?

A: One standout moment for us was the marathon session where we recorded 7 songs in just 3 days. Our collaboration with renowned fashion designer Mounir Ghazi and the subsequent mini-documentary we produced have also been memorable milestones in our journey.

Where are you based? Can you tell us how the music scene there has inspired your sound at all?

A: We’re based in London. The city’s vibrant and diverse music scene has deeply influenced our music. London’s historical significance in the rock world, combined with its ever-changing musical dynamics, plays a big role in our sound. Being from different countries, our diverse backgrounds bring a unique flavor to our music, making it stand out.

Can you describe your most memorable career performance? How do you recall it?

A: Our fondest memories always center around our fans. We love involving the audience in our performances. During a few gigs, we even had the electrifying experience of inviting the crowd onto the stage. Those moments of camaraderie and shared passion are what make every gig unforgettable. Our individual backgrounds, spanning the UK, Poland, and Egypt, lend a unique and diverse flavor to our sound, ensuring that each performance is distinctive.

Can we anticipate a forthcoming EP or album from you soon?
